Well, not really born again. It's more like Bourne again, as in Bourne won again. Yeah. Lily's basketball team just couldn't make the grade and unfortunately, lost to Bourne at the tournament this past weekend. So, a little disappointing but, still fun to watch nevertheless. Saturday night, we all went out to the Brazilian grill and managed to stuff ourselves silly! Their butternut bisque soup tasted like a wonderful dessert - thick, creamy, and sweetly flavored with cinammon.
Last week I never had the time to mention the wonderful treasury that AKDLampwork had made featuring one of my beads. It was very appropriately titled "Sunshine".
So I'm sending the love back to Amy by featuring one of her many fabulous beads. This one is called "Golden Palace". I love the cellular bubbles of light contained in this bead. Nice work, Amy!

Feel your pain..my daughter Rachel's team just lost in the semi-finals to a killer (rough) team. NOT such a fun game to watch..
Yeah - intentional fouls, especially when not called, are hard to watch. The refs need eyes in back of their heads like us moms!
Lily starts tournaments in her AAU team in less than two weeks. It's been fun watching them grow from little 2nd graders to actually knowing (for the most part) what to do out on the court!
