As I'm almost out the door for a weekend basketball tournament at the Cape, I wanted to post some pictures of the beads I made using the colors I had blogged about the other day. I probably won't have time to list them in my Etsy shop until Monday.


Last night, I had the pleasure of going to a Beadesigner International meeting at the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society. The meeting was featuring Julie Picarello (I love her brooches on her website's front page), giving a fun talk about her process of adding metal accents, rivets and epoxy resins to her work. Julie had just flown in from France from a workshop she taught there. France, known for its art, fabulous food, great wine, beautiful architecture and

Oh Janice so Julie was with you....she had spent her time in France with me! Such a small world....irrespective of the location Julie makes the visit worthwhile!

The black really gets these colors to pop. I've been thinking the season's colors are too soft or light but you gave these some kick! Great stuff!
