When I came upon Jennefer Falck Linssen's paper sculptures, I felt that cool sense of wonder as I marvelled at her work. She takes the Japanese paper and textile tradition of katagami (stencil) and explores the sculptural possibility of the handcarved stencil in and of itself. Her combination of katagami, basketry and metalsmithing techniques creates a contempory take on art from ancient traditions. Take a moment from your day and travel through time and space.
