C. A. Michel is a multi-talented artist whose work includes basketry, sculpture, wall relief, painting and cubes. While still an undergraduate, she received a Merit Award from the Los Angeles Bicentennial in 1981, which seemed to catapult her future career as an artist. Wow. What a talent. The use of the basket color against the feathers are breathtaking. The baskets are a complete opposite from the other works which are rusty and rough. Spectacular, thank you. Made my morning.
