Marvelous Monday

After graduating college (with a BA in 3D design - silversmithing, jewelry & ceramics), Eric Moss went into graphic design as a career, while keeping his potting skills up sporadically at a local college.  It wasn't until 2005 when he decided to enter the commercial ceramics world - this was after a two week course in raku firing.  "My current forms are inspired by natural seeds and nuts, ringed planets, flower bracts and mechanical aero/spacecraft engine parts."

The word that comes to mind when I look at his work is nestled.  Some of it brings back memories of the wooden Russian nestling dolls that my kids had when they were younger.  Just makes me want to play!  Hope you enjoy and have a marvelous Monday!

Intriguing shapes; they look like they might move of their own accord at any moment!
